This app was worth it. This shows you all the basics and helps you memorize each character. Ive only been using it for a few days and honestly its great. I didnt know where to start to learn Japanese and this has given me a good foundation.
Truly helpful and fun
This app is a good start for those just getting acquainted with Japanese (like myself). Paying the $6 or $7 was well worth the price of getting all of the included material. Its clear, concise, and well organized. I like how the lessons start out with learning the kana instead of jumping in to a bunch of conversational phrases without any grammatical foundation. It would be nice to have a stroke order guide to practice writing each character. Also, some of the audio on the hiragana section sounds a little muddled. Still, this is a great app and I use it daily.
Though it takes time(obviously) I feel like it really works for me,I even go back to older lessons after mouths from doing them and I able to easily remember what I learned from back then and not miss one thing. So yeah it feels good to know Im making progress even if its baby steps.
I love the look and feel of this app. I can really feel like Im grasping the kana.
This app is amazing, this app is very good when it comes to understand what the characters stand for, and the sounds they make. Its especially great when it comes to the pricing. $7.99 for all the lessons? How could I say no to that?! The only thing I dont like is the way the characters are drawn. They look a little odd compared to how a keyboard or what many people would write it as. But, if you are looking for a cheap, very easy, and very in depth lesson, definately try this app out.
I have made my own flash cards for hiragana and katakana but Ive been trying to study kanji, so far Im only through some reviewing for hiragana but its really worth the 8$. Its pre made flash cards with sounds and Im assuming kanji will have explanations with it, so this along side of kanji study is a super awesome learning tool.
This is a straight forward app that teaches and reinforces learning the alphabet. Combine this with physically writing the characters and you WILL learn how to write Japanese. As for the font: do not worry about stroke order or tapering you penmanship--that really only applies to using a brush. The truth is, that Japanese write like anyone else: as fast or slow or as neat as they think they need to. Just making each stroke a simple line is fine. Tip: learn the Hiragana first since it is the most frequently used.
Helps my memorization immensely!
I like the quick pace I can take, and the ease of reviewing old lessons. I havent tried to review all yet. It is also pretty to look at. Having the characters sounds also spoken aloud is important to me. I like this app.
This app is great! I wish they would add romanji!
Great app, but I would like more in the review portions.
I hit a wall while teaching myself Japanese. This app has helped me make some definite progress. Id recommend this app to everyone ☺️☺️☺️
This is my favorite app I use to learn Japanese. Its very simple to use and incredibly helpful.
Really enjoy this app, Im learning. ^_^
This app helps you in your hard spots as your learning the language its perfect and you keep reviewing everything as you go so it sinks in.
Has helped me a lot remembering hiragana so far
I just got this app yesterday, and Im absolutely AMAZED at how awesome it is. I love it so much. This app has made learning Japanese Hirigana, Katakana, Kanji, etc., soooo much easier. I highly recommend anybody who is wanting to learn it. Also, if youre hesitant on whether or not you should buy all the lessons or not, do it. Trust me, its worth it.
This app is pretty effective and efficient seeing as Im a 11 year old kid and I know some of the figures but it would be nice if there was a notification or something to remind you. But thats just me. Otherwise great app good job!
