This app is just what I was looking for. I love that it is intuitive and has you review areas in which you struggle. Its easy to use and very helpful for getting started with the Japanese language!

Great app, I have been using for little over a week and it has been going great. I paid the small amount for the extra lessons and it was totally worth it, especially considering you get so much for a low price!

The audio for this app is extremely annoying to listen to and sometimes odd to decipher, but it works well enough, hopefully it will get an update. Voice aside, this app is great for my memorization! And more importantly not only does it teach Hira, and Kata, but also Kanji all together as you would have in Japan. Teaching you all 3 like you would growing up. I really like it and if you already know Hira and Kata like I do, you can use it to mainly focus on Kanji and sentences! Which I recommend. Now this app isnt the full app, and will take some money to get, but I would say go for it! Defiantly helpful!

This app makes learning Hiragana and Katakana a breeze. Simple and easy to use; I cant wait to get to the grammar lessons!

The design is slick, but the review of the Hiragana is not thoughtful. It only tests hiragana from the same group against each other, not vs similar looking hiragana. Also, the review algorithm seems to only pull from a limited number of hiragana, not from all of them. Waste of money.

This app is totally worth it! Very helpful and simple to understand. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is new to the language, or someone that needs help remembering. You have to pay for extra lessons, but it is affordable and definitely necessary!

I just learned hiragana and katakana in a week (only representatives of letters to Latin alphabet) thanks to this app. But voice is a bit buggy with UI

Ive tried quite a few programs, apps, and online resources so far, and this has been the only thing that tests you effectively to the point you start memorizing characters like its second nature. And its SO easy to use. Seriously, if youre just starting out learning Japanese, do yourself a favor and buy the full version of this. For what you get, its an absolute bargain.

Ive only used this for a few days but I can already speak quite a bit of Japanese.

Ive been looking for an app to help me keep up with what Id learned already in college and this is the easiest and clearest ive found. Great for learning kana, and an introduction to identifying and recognizing kanji.

This app is amazing and isnt time consuming. It really allows you to pace yourself as well as test yourself constantly. I feel like I could learn any language if I had this app.

I am someone who is easily bored and distracted, yet, even though this app is simple, it captures my attention. I really like it. The developer is friendly and is quick to respond to inquiries. I feel that I am learning a lot. I enjoy that there is sound associated with the kana; very helpful. I look forward to more updates. Perhaps different fonts? Maybe images? How about a way to write the kana as practice? Thank you.

As an Elementary II Japanese student, this helps even me go back over things like basics especially in practice sentences and Kanji. Really really user friendly if you ask me.

Before there was lots of glitches in the application. Now it works well and is a good way to learn the fundamentals. Might I suggest a randomization of all the lesson topics at the end to help keep the learner engaged with the app? By the way the kanji app by this provider isnt bad either.

Helped me a lot to learn hiragana so far! So excited to keep using this and practicing on practice sheets that i printed! Its just difficult to do because my adhd. Thanks a lot for the help! ^u^
