Just add the possibility for the quiz to ask you to find a sign just reading the sound and other alike options and it would easily become the best app available (I have tried most of them).
Well designed app, perfect for learning hiragana and katakana. Its simple and really easy to use. I recommend it.
I really like this app. Nice and clean design. Making good progress with it! Unfortunately the app keeps crashing in the 15th group of Hiragana so I cant continue. Any way you guys could fix this?
Easy, and doesnt require internet, so you can practice everywhere. Its not enough to really learn japanese, but helps a lot once you understand the letters to associate with vocabulary.
Very simple, no gimmicks, just plane repetitive flash card style memorization. Better than just a flash card program because everything is all set to go and the pricing is very reasonable. No bugs that Ive seen on iOS 9.2

i love this app so much ?? honestly its exactly what i wanted, im not too far into it but at this point i know hiragana like the back of my hand. this is so much better than even extremely expensive programs — i love it !!!♥︎
I use this periodically to refreshing some basics while commuting. I also shared the app with a friend. While its not cheap.. (You have to pay for further chapters.) I find it a useful tool for practicing Japanese and warming up. You can start to learn a bit. Occasionally the audio cuts out and there have been other minor issues. Yet, I am overall happy with this app.
The way the lessons are designed help so that you actually memorize the hiragana and kanji and katakana, not just romanji. The lessons arent too hard and make sure you know what you are doing before you continue. I suggest buying all of the lessons it will be worth your time
The learning methods in this app is great. I learn a lot with it.
It would be even better as an app if it based off its sentences and vocab with Genki (most students use it with school). Adding more vocab and sentence variation would be great. Basing off Genkis sentence and vocab examples would be even better.
Maybe add a "rules" section?

Loved the free lessons. Fantastic navigation, and the learning methods actually made sense. It was repetition, but the app kept me on my feet as I went through the vowels. Ive taken German lessons from DuoLingo and thought that these quizzes, while not as intricate, were every bit as effective.
Only problem is, I cant afford to upgrade, so I decided to write a review as a way of supporting the app. Highly recommend downloading it and giving the free areas a shot, Ill have to keep my fingers crossed the paid parts will open up one day.
