Nic and great app but its need some photos

I originally downloaded this app to help me for an upcoming quiz in my Japanese 101 class for college, but they way it keeps refreshing your mind with material you learned in the beginning really makes sure you dont forget it!! Im confident in my hiragana in class now, one of the best apps out there!

Living in Japan. I can honestly say this is amazing

The characters used are very sloppy written. It helps if you first do Dr.Mogus apps, then do this to advance your hiragana knowledge.

I got the app a couple weeks ago and I wasnt learning anything for a while, I dont think it has the best teaching system for any of the character. but what I did find after learning hiragana from tofugu.com that its a great review tool, it helps me remember all the hiragana that Ive learned so far. I would recommend the app for review all the way, you do have to buy all the lessons for like 1.99 but its worth it. Just make sure you have some way to learn the kana and kanji first.

Great memorization, fantastic and easier way to learn. I always dream of going to Japan and this will help me out big time. Thank you so much for teaching me Japanese.

This app is definitely one of the better language apps Ive used When you mess up it makes you repeat the same few words over and over and over to the point where you dont want to mess up because you dont want to spend an extra 3 minutes going over the same few words, which is great because it really makes you remember the ones you messed up on. The main issue is the font used. It makes it really difficult to recognize kanji when its written normally in places like Twitter and on signs because the apps stylized font looks so much different I will say that it helps you better recognize stylized kanji on product packaging and in commercials and stuff like that though But I decided not to purchase the separate kanji course because of the font. If there was an option to change the font to a standard font then I would be more than happy to purchase the kanji course as well

Right now Im trying to self-teach myself Japanese and of all the ones Ive downloaded from the store thats free this is one of the best and most helpful! It allows me to review and highlights which ones I need to go over again. It also quizzes me in a matching card like format where when I do get a hiragana incorrect then it makes me review it until I get them right. It still highlights what I struggled with. Theres also a cool feature where it pronounces it for me. This app is very user-friendly! I hope anyone that wants to refresh or learn Japanese basics (katakana, hiragana and more) to use this app. I wish I could give it more than just 5 stars.

If when the word is being said with only Japanese texts on screen. Would be better if they showed English characters too

I use several devices, including an iPad Pro and two iPhones. My progress does not carry over to other devices, so I am forced to repeat past lessons. I couldnt find any way to fix this. Lessons just stay locked until I go through them all again. Frustrating. Otherwise it is a great app.

This app is great it is really teaching me well, the only bad thing is you have to pay like 7$ if you want the whole thing but its well worth it!

I bought the upgrade and Im using this app as an introduction to Japanese. I want to master the basics and then get a tutor. Seems like a good app but I just got it.

It was hard in the beginning but I pulled it off all the way to the end I really recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn Japanese. Thank you Devs for making this app hopefully u can add more lessons Ill be really appreciate it! Ill recommend this app to my other friends as well :)

Easy to pick up and help you memorize! E.g. Hiragana are broken up by group but it randomizes them and repeats to help you learn them. Must have!

Its fun and easy to use. I do wish there was a way to reset a block and start over.

i love this app so much ?? honestly its exactly what i wanted, im not too far into it but at this point i know hiragana like the back of my hand. this is so much better than even extremely expensive programs — i love it !!!♥︎

I use this periodically to refreshing some basics while commuting. I also shared the app with a friend. While its not cheap.. (You have to pay for further chapters.) I find it a useful tool for practicing Japanese and warming up. You can start to learn a bit. Occasionally the audio cuts out and there have been other minor issues. Yet, I am overall happy with this app.

The way the lessons are designed help so that you actually memorize the hiragana and kanji and katakana, not just romanji. The lessons arent too hard and make sure you know what you are doing before you continue. I suggest buying all of the lessons it will be worth your time

The learning methods in this app is great. I learn a lot with it. It would be even better as an app if it based off its sentences and vocab with Genki (most students use it with school). Adding more vocab and sentence variation would be great. Basing off Genkis sentence and vocab examples would be even better. Maybe add a "rules" section? I love this app a lot -- please stay awesome! Also...I wouldnt mind a discount or a free lesson portion as a Holidays present!
